Buy A Bike For A Vietnamese Child
When I visited Vietnam in 2016 on a research trip for my books, I was humbled at the poverty I saw everywhere, but especially in the small towns and villages. Families got by on whatever they could sell on the road outside their homes, or survived with the few cents they made through selling lottery tickets on the streets.
Through a friend in South Vietnam, I have the ability to do something little, that in return has become something huge; gifting a new bike to a child.
Help A Child Get To School
For the child involved, it has meant they no longer have to get up early to walk the many miles to attend a school. A bike to ride opens many doors for a child with nothing.
Each of the children pictured, have been given a brand new bike either purchased by me or my readers. All the children are from poor families, live in an orphanage, or on the street.
