The ebb and flow of strong characters in NZ locations that are known, and there for more meaningful, meant that I was quickly drawn in. Mac and Alec overcome obstacles that create twists and turns to keep the reader interested.
Mac and Alec have a lot of obstacles to get through before they earn their happy-ever-after, and I loved taking the journey with them.
Carole has a lovely writing style, which flows easily, and the story line was just sublime – talk about throwing stuff at your characters and see how they react! A wonderful read!
